50 Tell Tale Signs Your Aging

There is always that one moment when you realise that you are ageing. For me it was a few weeks ago.  My partner and I were heading out to a little Thai restaurant I’d been so looking forward to all week when we ran into a friend we hadn’t seen for a very long time. So off we went to have a few catch up drinks before heading off to dinner.Well, that was the intention at least, the company was great, the conversation engaging but I remember at one point thinking that I’d rather be home in my pj’s with a nice cup of tea watching a movie. Whoa…that’s when I felt like I’d aged. As much as I wanted to go home I didn’t, I filled my glass and I’d stayed out till the the early morning before stumbling home.
I remember when after a big night out I could always back up the next day, be it a little worse for wear but definatley functional. Not now! One little night out and it takes me days to recover. I should have listened to myself and headed home for that nice cup of tea.
A British insurance company recently surveyed 2,000 people for their tell-tale signs of getting old. From this, they compiled a list of the top 50 indications, from “taking a keen interest in the Antiques Roadshow” to “Always driving in the slow lane”.
Take a look at the list by clicking the link below and tell me if your tell tale sign is listed. If not comment on the blog page and tell us what you would have added to the list.

Video Situation

Standing By

It might be an age thing but I’m constantly dismayed how people can be very quick to pull out their phone and video situations rather than stepping in to help.

The Project ran a video showing two young women physically and verbally abusing a 56 year old man on a train and left him with a nasty gash to the head. Don’t get me started about the total lack of respect shown by these two young women
but what disturbs me more is that in a train packed full of commuters that not one person stood up and intervened or helped him.

We are seeing this more and more. You have probably all read about the Nigella Lawson incident this week. Same thing, lets film it but no one went to her help her or even asked if she was ok.

What is society coming to where we’d rather film someone being victimised then do the right thing and come to their aid?

What would you do if faced with a similar situation?

Face Lift

Tingly Feeling

I’m constantly being asked by customers who have started using
Lift, Firm & Tighten FACE LIFT if the “tingling” sensation felt when applying it is normal.

Although, not everyone who uses Lift, Firm & Tighten feels this but those that do I can say “Yes, it is completely normal”.

It is an ingredient called GABA or Gamma-aminobutyric acid causes that sensation. GABA is a chemical that is found naturally in the body that makes muscles relax. So when topically applied it temporarily disrupts the signal
that makes the muscles contract. GABA has often been called the  Botox alternative. And all without a needle in sight.

The GABA is what we like to call the instant effect but combined with the two power peptides of Relistase and Serilesene gives the product longer term
benefits as well.

Lift, Firm & Tighten FACE LIFT is a power packed formula suitable for the
mature or more damaged skin. Click here for more info on this product.

Sore Throat

Sore Throat

Winter is finally here!  It’s normally around this time that we start to feel the first signs of a sore throat.

As soon as I start to feel that first little tickle I grab out my Gran’s tried and tested home remedy recipe.

I’m sure you all have your own home remedy that’s been handed down but this one has always worked for me and I’d like to share it with you.

It’s a really simple gargle made of Tea, Lemon and Salt.

To Make the Gargle.

1. Prepare half a cup of sage tea, allow it too cool down slightly.

2. Add the juice of half a lemon and one tablespoon of salt.

3. Mix well and gargle.

Tip: If you don’t have sage simply make the mixture using plain warm water.

Use it 2-3 times a day and the astringent and anti-microbial actions of this gargle will help reduce inflamation and the pain of sore throat.
